Our priorities
This page summarises the trust's priorities as outlined in our Annual Plan for 2009/10. The plans were developed with input from staff and members and approved by the Council of Governors. There are two elements to the plan:
Four must do priorities
These are based directly on the feedback from service users and carers:
- Support families and carers
- Provide information for service users and carers
- Improve care planning
- Improve relationships with service users and carers
Five critical priorities for the year
- Promote clinical quality
- Promote social inclusion
To increase service users’ opportunities for employment (paid and unpaid), training, education and community participation
- Increase access to psychological therapies
- Establish common care pathways across the trust
To put in place a more standardised service and link together clinical quality, service outcomes and finance
- Community provider services
Work with local commissioners regarding future provision of community health services such as district nursing, health visiting and therapies
