How to get help: Greenwich Mental Health Services

Emergency help

For current service users in Greenwich:

As part of your care planning, your care coordinator (the main person who is currently helping you) should give you detailed information on how to get in touch with the mental health services when required.

If it is an emergency and you are unable to contact your care-coordinator, you can call the 24 hour Greenwich Crisis Line on 0845 608 0524.

You can also get emergency help at your nearest Accident and Emergency department:

After 5pm and at the weekend you can get emergency help by calling the on-call social worker on 020 8854 8888.

You can also call Family Action, which provides counselling for parents and young people on 020 8310 6570.

Adult mental health services

During normal working hours (Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm) you can telephone the Assessment and Shared Care Team on 020 8319 5500 for advice. If necessary, arrangements will be made for you to have an assessment.

Child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS)

If you wish to discuss a referral about your child, please telephone Greenwich CAMHS on 020 3260 5200.
