Double the delight at two HSJ award short-listings

News: HSJ Awards 2019

The finalists for the HSJ Awards 2019 have been announced – and we’re delighted to have been shortlisted for two prestigious national awards.

We’ve been shortlisted in the Staff Engagement Award category for work to improve engagement through communications.

The South London Mental Health and Community Partnership (SLP) has also been shortlisted in the System Leadership Initiative of the Year category for collaborating, not competing, to transform mental health outcomes for a 3.6m population in south London.

Matthew Trainer, Chief Executive said: "It's great news to be shortlisted for these awards. Recognising the hard work of our staff is so important and I'm really pleased that Oxleas and our partner SLP trusts have been singled out in this way for special praise - to be shortlisted is a great achievement, especially given the tough competition."

The HSJ awards are one of the largest celebrations of healthcare excellence in the world, recognising and promoting the finest achievements in the NHS and showcasing them to the service’s most influential leaders.

Our shortlisted teams will now take part in presentations and interviews to judging panels of senior healthcare figures. Winners will be revealed at a ceremony at Battersea Evolution in London on 6 November.
