Knowledge Services and Library Corporate

The trust's knowledge services department aims to support the delivery of evidence based healthcare by providing staff with access to clinical literature. There is a library located in Pinewood House open Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, and a virtual library in the e-learning and knowledge section of the trust intranet. From the latter, staff can access a large range of healthcare related information including eight databases, over 1,800 electronic journals, 150 full text electronic books, and training and support materials. Services available include article and book supply, information sourcing, database training and advice, evidence based practice support and literature searches for trust projects.
