Community HIV Team Bexley

The community team gives an assessment of needs and continuing support for people with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), their families, partners, and carers in Bexley.

This may include referral on to other healthcare professionals such as district nurses, health visitors and GPs.

The team will usually visit people in their own home, but alternative arrangements can be made to suit individual needs, if you would prefer to attend the health centre or hospital.

The team will also liaise with Social Services and the voluntary sector who can provide additional support for social care needs.
