The Housing Resettlement Services are part of Greenwich Council. They have several teams: • The Community Housing Resettlement Team • The Mental Health Housing Resettlement Team • 1st Base – Young Peoples Team (16 and 17 year olds) • The Hospital Discharge Team • The Substance Misuse and Criminal Justice Team • The Supported Projects. The teams provide short term housing related support to people who are vulnerable for some reason, and who need housing related support of some kind to help them live independently and prevent homelessness. Our Supported Projects team have a small number of supported units for people with mental health problems, women and care leavers. However, the majority of the support offered is “floating support” for service users who are living (or about to start living) in independent accommodation who need help to set up and establish independent living or already have accommodation of some kind but need help to prevent or manage a housing crisis of some kind. You can find out more about the services we provide by contacting our team administrator on 0208 921 2698 and asking to speak to our Duty Officer, or one of the other team seniors.
