The short term intervention team (SIT) help people from the borough of Greenwich who require time limited input due to mental ill-health. They provide a range of clinical and therapeutic services to help people get back to functioning independently within a short period of time.
They help people manage their mental health using a mixture of treatments. These include psychological therapies (or talking treatments) and medicines. They help people cope better and resolve their difficulties. They also help people access other agencies that may be able to help.
